Point of No Return ("we", "our", "the extension") is a Chrome browser extension that helps you find your correct clothing size on any website. This policy explains what data we handle, where it goes, and your rights. It describes the extension as it works today — features that are not built yet are not covered here.
Your wardrobe — every item you save, along with its thumbnail and extracted measurements — is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API. There is no account, no login, and no cloud copy. If you uninstall the extension, that data is gone.
Thumbnail images are downscaled and stored as base64 data on your device so they survive a product page going offline. Thumbnails are never uploaded anywhere.
To generate a size recommendation, some data must be sent to our server at noreturns.app, which relays it to Anthropic's API. This happens at two moments:
We do not send thumbnails, your browsing history, cookies, or any page content beyond the product and size chart fields listed above.
If a product page does not publish a size chart, our server may fetch that brand's public size guide page directly (for example brand.com/pages/size-guide) to fill the gap. This is a request to the retailer's public website made from our server, not from your browser, and it carries no information about you.
Nothing. The recommendation endpoint is stateless: it receives a request, calls Anthropic, returns a size, and retains no copy. We do not keep a database of users, wardrobes, or recommendations. We do not log request bodies.
Anthropic — the item and size chart data described in Section 2 is processed by Anthropic's API to generate the recommendation. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to that processing: anthropic.com/privacy. You do not need your own API key; the key is held server-side.
Vercel — our server runs on Vercel, which processes standard request metadata (such as IP address) as part of delivering the response.
Google Fonts — the extension popup and this website load the Inter typeface from Google's font CDN.
We use no advertising networks, no analytics, and no tracking pixels.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, other than the processing described in Section 4. We do not display ads and do not give advertisers access to any user data.
The extension does not read your browsing history, does not access your email, and does not run in the background.
Your wardrobe is retained on your device until you delete it. You can remove individual items with the × button, or erase everything with "Clear all" in the extension footer. Uninstalling the extension deletes all locally stored data. Because we store nothing server-side, there is no separate deletion request to make.
Point of No Return is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy as the extension evolves. Material changes will be noted in the extension's update notes, and the "last updated" date above will change.
